Mumbra Public High School & Junior College

Our school and college are situated in the Badar Complex in Mumbra. This is a very crowded area of Thane, and the school reflects that life. We are part of a larger building complex, so there are shops and other businesses nearby. Students from the high school and the junior college share the space, which means the hallways are always full of people. The stairs are usually the busiest place, with students rushing up and down between classes. We have classrooms that have seen a lot of use over the years. The benches are a bit worn and the chalkboards are dusty, but they serve their purpose. Mumbra is a place that never really stays quiet, so there is always the sound of the street coming in through the windows. Our staff is used to the bustle and the noise. We have a small office where we handle all the admissions and the exam paperwork. The junior college students are a bit more serious, often seen huddled in corners studying for their finals. It’s a practical environment where we focus on getting through the syllabus. There isn't much room for a big field, so the students mostly hang out in the common areas or near the entrance. We try to keep things running smoothly despite the limited space. It’s just a regular school in a very busy part of town.
