Malvani Tadaka

We have been running Malvani Tadaka for a while now in the Akruti Smc Building. It is right on New Agara Road in Thane West, not too far from the St Workshop. If you walk toward Makhmali Talaw, you will find us near Khopat. The building is older, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but we keep the kitchen clean and organized. We don't have a big team of chefs or a manager. It is mostly just us and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood who have been with us for years. Every morning, we go to the local market to see what is fresh for the day. If the fish doesn't look good, we don't buy it, which sometimes means we run out of things early and have to tell people we are sold out. The noise from the road can be a lot during the day with all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We didn't go to any fancy cooking schools or get any special training. We just learned from our parents and keep doing it that way. The tables are basic wood and the chairs sometimes wobble a bit if you don't sit right on them. We don't have a fancy menu with photos or descriptions. It is just a list of what we can cook today. Sometimes we stay open late if there are people still eating, and other times we close up early if it is quiet. We just do what we can to get the spices right every single day.
