Magik Stik Chinese Corner

We’ve been here at Shop No 8 on Rambhau Mhalgi Marg for a good while now. It’s a small spot in Kopri-Thane East, right across from Satguru Garden. If you know Sri Ramkrishna Nagar, you know how busy this corner gets in the evenings. Most of the time, it’s just us trying to keep up with the orders coming in. We do Chinese food, the kind you’d expect from a local corner shop. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but that’s just how it is in Thane. We started this because we wanted a place for people to grab a quick bite after work. There isn’t much space inside, so folks often stand around or take their food home. We use the same pans and the same recipes we’ve had since the start. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when the weekend crowd hits. We don’t really do fancy stuff here. It is just a kitchen and a counter. You might see us prepping veggies in the afternoon before the stove gets turned on. It is a simple life running a food stall. We know a lot of the neighbors by name since they stop by so often. Sometimes we run out of ingredients early if it’s been a long day. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the food is hot. It’s not a big restaurant, just our little corner in Kopri where we work every day.
