Krr Gauthami High School

Krr Gauthami High School is over at the Family Dojo in Kalyan City. It’s an interesting spot because of the name of the building. People sometimes get confused and ask if we are a karate school, but we are just a regular high school. We are located in Thane, 421301. The building is shared with other things so there is always a lot of activity going on around us. The stairs are quite steep and I always tell the students to be careful when they are running down for their breaks. We have a small office where we keep all the records and it’s usually overflowing with folders. The classrooms are a decent size but they feel small when thirty kids are all talking at once. We don't have any polished marketing slogans to tell you. We just open the doors in the morning and start the lessons. The weather in Kalyan can be really hot, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We know the parents and we know the kids by their names because it’s a local community. There’s no corporate feel to the place at all. It feels more like a big, slightly disorganized family. We just do our best with what we have and make sure the students learn what they are supposed to. It’s a plain and simple school life.
