Krm Public School

Our school is located in the Subh Laxmi Shopping Centre on Bombay Agra Road. We are up on the third floor, in suite 304. Being right on the main road in Kalyan City means it is always noisy outside with trucks and buses constantly passing by. It’s a busy area of Thane, and the shopping center stays crowded throughout the week. To get to us, you have to walk past all the ground-floor shops and take the stairs or the lift up. The school itself is basically a few converted rooms in the commercial building. We don't have a courtyard or a field, so the kids stay inside the classrooms most of the time. The walls are painted a simple color, and we have some old wooden cabinets for the school records. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t go for anything flashy. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we just know how things work. During the lunch break, you can hear the sounds of the city drifting in through the windows. It’s a bit of a squeeze when all the classes are full, but we manage. People in Kalyan know the Subh Laxmi center well, so we are easy to find. We just do our work, teach the kids, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s just a regular local school trying to do a decent job in a busy part of town.
