Krk School

Krk School is located right in the middle of Kalyan City in Thane. The address is pretty straightforward and so is the school. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s a basic building with classrooms that have seen many years of students. The desks are a bit scratched and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it’s a functional place. I spend most of my day making sure the schedules are followed and that the teachers have what they need. Kalyan is a busy place and the noise from the street usually drifts into the classrooms. We just close the windows if it gets too loud. There’s no big fancy entrance, just a gate and a small yard where the kids gather before the bell rings. We don't spend time on promotional stuff because everyone in the local area already knows where we are. It’s a school for the neighborhood families. We have our routines and we stick to them. Lunchtime is the loudest part of the day, as you can imagine. We just try to provide a decent place for the kids to sit and study their books. It’s not about being the biggest or the most modern. It’s just about being here every day and doing the work that needs to be done.
