Kpm Matriculation Higher Secondary School is located at Shop No 1 in Prakash Chawl. We are right on Station Road in the Kopri Colony area of Thane East. The pincode is 400603. Being near the station means it is incredibly busy. You can hear the trains whistling and the announcement speakers if the wind is right. Prakash Chawl is an old structure. It has that classic Thane feel to it. Our space is right at the front, labeled as Shop No 1. It’s a bit unusual for a school to be in a chawl, but that is how we have it here. The rooms are a bit small and the ceilings aren't very high. We make the most of the space we have. Outside on Station Road, there are vendors selling everything from snacks to clothes. The walk from the station to our door is very short. This makes it easy for people to find us. It gets very crowded during the rush hours in the morning and evening. The air is always full of the smell of street food and exhaust. We don't have a big playground or a garden. We just have our classrooms and a small office. It is a very humble setup. We just do our teaching and try to keep things organized in the middle of all the Kopri Colony chaos. People walk by constantly.
