Kothari Convent English School

Kothari Convent English School is a bit different because we are actually located in Row House No 5 at Gokul Concorde. Being in Thakur Village, Kandivali East, means we are right in the middle of a very active community. Since we are in a row house, it feels much more like a home than a big institution. It’s an English medium school, and we have been here for a good while. People in Gokul Concorde see the kids coming and going every day. It’s a small-scale operation, which means everyone knows everyone else. You won’t find any big corporate offices here. Instead, you’ll find classrooms that used to be rooms in a house. It makes for a very specific kind of atmosphere that you don't get in those huge school buildings. We have our desks and chairs squeezed in, and we make it work. The address is 400101, and we’ve become a part of the daily rhythm of this specific row house lane. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles or fancy equipment. It’s just about teaching the kids their lessons and making sure they understand their English. Parents like that it’s right there in the neighborhood. It’s simple, it’s local, and it’s been working for us and the families here for a long time now. We enjoy the quieter pace of the row house life.
