King Lord Convent School

Out here in Sabe Gaon, things move a bit slower than in the main parts of Thane. Our school is right in the middle of the village area, which makes it easy for the local families to send their children over without a long commute. We have been operating here for some time now, and most people around the Post Office and the Police Station know exactly where we are. The building isn't huge, but it fits the students we have. Mornings are usually the busiest time because of the narrow roads leading up to the school gate. You will see parents dropping off their kids on motorbikes or walking them to the entrance before heading out to work. We spend a lot of time on the basic stuff, making sure the kids can read and write properly. It is not a fancy private school with big buses and air conditioning, but it serves the community well enough. The teachers mostly live nearby, so they understand the local life here in the Tahsil. Sometimes we have to deal with rain coming through the old parts of the roof or the mud in the playground after a big storm, but we manage to get by. The kids do not seem to mind much; they just want to play during the breaks. We do not have much in the way of big announcements or shiny posters. It is just a place for learning and keeping the kids busy.
