Kids Care

This place is on the ground floor of the Mangeshi Shrushti building in Phase 2. It’s right in the middle of Wayle Nagar, so there’s always people walking by or cars honking on Vasant Valley Road. Since we are on the ground floor, we get a lot of the street noise, but the kids don't seem to mind much. The rooms are filled with plastic toys, little chairs, and some cubbies for bags. Kalyan gets really hot in the summer, so we have the fans going full blast all day. We spend a lot of our time wiping up spills or helping kids tie their shoes. The walls are covered in drawings that the kids made, some of them are a bit messy but we keep them up anyway. Parents usually drop their little ones off on their way to work at the station. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded quickly, especially in the mornings when everyone is arriving at once. We don't have a big playground, just the area inside and a bit of the front walkway. The floor is covered in foam mats to keep things soft, though they have some bite marks in them. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized while ten toddlers are running in different directions. Khadakpada is a busy area, but once the door is shut, it’s just our own little world of naps and snacks. We keep a stack of extra clothes in the back for emergencies.
