K V Chinese Corner

K V Chinese Corner is a small shop, number 12, in the Nutan Vishal Apartment on Agarkar Road. We are right in Dombivli East, very close to the NKGSB Bank. It is a small space but we make it work. Every afternoon, we start prep work, chopping vegetables and getting the sauces ready. The smell of ginger and garlic usually fills up the sidewalk around the apartment building. We have a couple of burners going and the sound of the wok is constant once the evening rush starts. It gets quite hot inside, especially during the summer, so we usually have a big fan pointed at the cooking area. People from the nearby buildings and the bank often stop by for a quick bite on their way home. We don't have much seating, just a few stools and a counter, so most people just take their food to go. It is a noisy street with people walking to the station, but that helps our business. We’ve been serving the local crowd here for a while and we know how people in Dombivli like their spice. It is a simple life of frying rice and noodles every day. We close up late at night after the last train crowds have thinned out and the street gets a bit quieter.
