Jawahar Restaurant & Bar

Jawahar Restaurant & Bar has been sitting here on Gokhale Road in Naupada for a very long time. We have two different shop units, number 7 and number 15, right near the Malhar Cinema in Thane West. It is a busy neighborhood and there is always something going on outside our doors. Most people around here know where we are because we have been part of the street for decades. We are a simple restaurant and bar, nothing too fancy or modern. The inside is a bit dark, which is how our regular customers seem to like it. We get a lot of the same people coming in every week to sit at the same tables they have used for years. It is a place where you can just have a drink and some food without anyone bothering you. We do not go in for any of that new style of decorating or expensive lighting. The chairs are the old wooden kind and they have lasted us well. Our staff has mostly been with us for years and they know how things run. We do not have a fancy website or do much talking about ourselves. We just open up in the morning and stay open late into the night. It is a noisy, lively spot, especially when a movie lets out at Malhar. We just keep doing what we have always done for the people in Thane.
