Holy Writ High School & Junior College

You can find us in Pimploli Village, which is tucked away in the Thane area of Maharashtra. It is a bit different from the schools you see in the middle of the crowded city because we have a bit more space and greenery around us. We have both the high school and the junior college here, so we see students from a wide age range every single day. The building is quite large to fit everyone in. In the mornings, the road leading to the village gets quite busy with students making their way to class. We have been part of this community for years, and many families in Pimploli have sent their children to us. It is a place where teachers and students actually know each other's names. We have the usual labs and classrooms, and we try to keep the grounds looking decent. It’s a lot of work running a school and a college at the same site, and the office is always full of files and registers. We don’t go for anything too flashy. It’s just about getting the students to their classes and making sure they learn what they need for their futures. On rainy days, the area gets very green, though the mud can be a bit of a hassle for the buses. It’s just life at a school in a village setting, and we are happy to be here doing what we do. We like the quietness of the location compared to the city.
