Heerji Spices

Heerji Spices is located over in Kalyan East, specifically in Building No.3 of the Rutu Riverside Estate. We’re in the A Wing, and Agarwal College is just a short walk away. Being near the river is nice, though there isn't always time to go look at it during our shifts. Since the estate is quite large, it took us a bit to get settled in when we first arrived. Most of our day is spent around sacks of spices. The air in our unit stays thick with the scent of whatever we’re processing that day. It’s honest work, even if it leaves us sneezing once in a while from the chili dust. A small team runs things here, and everyone knows their job. No big corporate office exists for us. It’s just a practical workspace where spices get cleaned and packed. Because of the college students walking around, the area stays busy, which keeps the energy up during the day. Having been here for a bit now, we have a good rhythm going. It’s not always easy, especially when deliveries are late or the weather is too humid for the spices to stay dry. But we just deal with it and keep moving forward. This is a straightforward business. Staying focused on the task at hand is our main goal while we try to remain organized in our own way. It is just how things go for us here in Kalyan.
