Grill & Chill

Grill & Chill is located over on Pokhran Road in Thane West. We are right in Vartak Nagar, which is a pretty well-known spot if you live in the 400606 area. Thane has changed so much lately, with so many new towers and roads, but Vartak Nagar still feels like home to us. We set up this place because we wanted somewhere on this side of town where people could just hang out. Pokhran Road gets a lot of traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work. We see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes the neighborhood feel smaller than it actually is. We aren't a big chain or anything corporate. It's just a local spot with some tables and a kitchen that stays busy. We don't have a lot of rules or a polished way of doing things. We just try to keep the grill going and the atmosphere relaxed. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the place is full, but that’s just how it goes. We do our own cleaning and we handle the orders ourselves most of the time. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it seems to work for the folks in Thane. Most people just want a place to sit and have a meal without it being a whole production.
