Daawat Masala

We are located in Shop No. 305 inside the Sai Nagari Rajlaxmi Complex in Kalher. It is a pretty busy part of Bhiwandi, right across the road from the Central Bank of India. People often wander in while they are out doing their banking or running other errands nearby. We spend most of our daylight hours here working with various spices. It smells really strong in the shop every day, which we have gotten used to, even if visitors notice the scent immediately. We handle all the mixing and packing right here in this space. It is a small shop, but we make every inch of it work for us. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud and distracting, but inside we just keep our heads down and focus on the masala. We do not have a big corporate warehouse or a lot of fancy equipment. It is just us and the machines we use every day. We try to keep our operations simple. If a customer comes in asking for a specific kind of mix, we do what we can to help them out. It involves a lot of manual labor, like grinding and sealing bags. My clothes usually have a bit of spice dust on them by the time I head home. We have been in this spot for a while and the neighbors are decent people. We are just a local business trying to provide what people need for their kitchens.
