We are based out of D-4 in the MIDC area of Anand Nagar. It’s a standard industrial shed, nothing too fancy. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’ve seen a lot of other businesses come and go in the estate. We handle international trade, but our daily life is mostly about moving boxes and checking shipping lists. The air in Anand Nagar is usually thick with the sound of other factories and the smell of exhaust from the transport trucks. Our space is divided between the office area, which is just a couple of desks, and the warehouse section. We do all the inventory ourselves, so we know exactly what we have on the shelves at any given time. It can get pretty lonely out here sometimes, especially during the late shifts when the rest of the estate is quiet. We don’t have a big corporate culture or anything like that. We just show up, check the emails, and start packing. Sometimes the paperwork for the customs can be a real headache, but we just sit down and get through it. We like being in the MIDC because it’s easy for the big lorries to find us. We don’t use any marketing fluff to describe what we do. We’re just a small team trying to get our goods moved across the world from our little corner of Anand Nagar. It’s a lot of routine work, but it pays the bills.
