Wadhwancity has a lot of history, and our high school is a small part of that local fabric here in Surendra Nagar. The air is often dry and the sun can be quite sharp, so the thick walls of our school are a blessing most days. We have a simple routine that hasn't changed much over the years. The students arrive from the surrounding streets, some walking and some on old bicycles. Our classrooms are basic, with plain walls and fans that hum all day long. We don't have a big fancy campus, but there is enough space for the kids to stretch their legs during the recess. You’ll often see teachers standing out in the corridor talking about the upcoming exams or just catching a bit of air. The noise from the town occasionally drifts in, but mostly it's just the sound of pages turning or someone writing on the board. We keep the place clean as best as we can, though the Gujarat dust always finds a way in through the windows. It’s a practical place for learning. There are no big promises made here, just the daily effort of teaching the curriculum and making sure the students stay on track. Most of the families around here have sent their children to us for a long time, so everyone knows what to expect when they walk through the gates. It is just a normal school for normal kids.
