Shree P S M Madhyamik Shala

Khodu is a quiet little place in Surendranagar, and that’s where you will find Shree P S M Madhyamik Shala. We are a secondary school that serves the local families here. The school isn't very big, just a few blocks of classrooms arranged around a patch of ground. There aren't many cars in Khodu, so most of our students arrive on foot or by bicycle. You can see the cycles lined up against the wall every morning. It’s a peaceful spot, away from the noise of the bigger cities like Rajkot or Ahmedabad. We have a few big trees that give some nice shade during the hot afternoons. The staff room is just a small space with a few chairs and a table where we keep the attendance books. We don't have a canteen or anything, so everyone brings their own lunch from home. You can often smell the different pickles and rotis during the break time. The kids here are mostly good, though they can be a bit rowdy when the weather is nice. We focus on getting them through their exams and making sure they know their subjects. The school building has been there for years and it’s seen a lot of people come and go. It’s just a standard village school where we do our best with what we have. It’s a very grounded sort of place to work and learn for everyone involved in the daily routine.
