You just walk in and you're right there where the work happens. Surendra Nagar is known for being quite warm, so the shade in the courtyard is where everyone likes to hang out during the lunch break. We don't spend much time worrying about looking polished. The focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure the girls have their materials ready. It’s a very local kind of place. The staff has been here for years, and we’ve seen sisters and cousins from the same families come through our doors one after the other. It’s just a regular part of the community.
