Om Parkesh Deep Arts

We’re over at 244 Vishal Nagar, near Dharam Nagar. It’s right off A.K. Road. Om Parkesh Deep Arts is basically a workshop where we make things. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of materials and tools. We’ve been at this address for quite a few years. The neighborhood is mostly residential with a few small shops like ours. You can usually hear us working if you walk past. We handle different kinds of art and design work, mostly the practical kind that people need for their shops or homes. It’s not a gallery; it’s a place where things get built and painted. My hands are usually covered in some kind of ink or dust by the end of the day. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just come to the door and we talk about what they need. It’s a very local way of doing things. Vishal Nagar is a busy place, and we’re glad to be a part of it. We just focus on doing the work right and making sure it looks okay. Sometimes we’re working late to finish a big project. It’s just the way it goes when you’re running a small arts business. We’re easy to find if you know where Dharam Nagar is. We like it here because it feels like a real community where people know each other by name.
