A1 Art is tucked away on Varachha Road in the New Timber Market area. We are located near Super Diamond. Being in the timber market means there is always a lot of activity and noise around us every single day. Trucks are constantly coming and going with loads of wood. Inside our space, things are a bit different, though it's still a workspace at the end of the day. We deal with various art pieces and frames. It's not a polished gallery like you might see in a big mall. It’s more of a workshop where we actually make things with our hands. There are bits of material and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of some project or another. We’ve been on Varachha Road for quite a while now. The people around here know us as the place near Super Diamond. We don't spend much on advertising or marketing. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign while they were in the timber market for something else entirely. It can get a bit crowded in the shop when we have several orders going at once. We just take it one piece at a time. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work best. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us here, doing the work manually. We like the grit of the timber market; it feels like a real place to build and create things.
