Arti Kanuga

I’m Arti Kanuga and I work out of 202 in the Dindayal Gala Type Society. This is on Rander Road, specifically the Rameshwar Road section. My setup is pretty small. I started doing this because I liked helping my friends find good places to live without getting overcharged. Now it’s my full-time job. Living and working in the same society helps me stay on top of what’s available. I know which units are quiet and which ones get too much sun in the afternoon. It’s those little things that matter when you are picking a home. I don't do any big advertising. Usually, someone just gives out my number. I keep track of the local rentals and sales around Rander Road. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy with all the different rules, but I’ve done it enough times to know the shortcuts. I’m not trying to be a big corporate office. I just want to help people get settled without a lot of stress. If I’m not at the desk, I’m probably out walking the dog or talking to a neighbor about a listing. It’s a quiet life but I enjoy it. If you need something in the society, just ask for me. Most of the guards know where my unit is. I try to make sure everything is handled fairly for both the owner and the tenant.
