Tea Rose Fashion

We are located on the ground floor of the Surat Textiles Market on Ring Road. If you know Surat, you know how hectic the Ring Road area gets. It’s the hub for everything cloth-related. At Tea Rose Fashion, we have a space that is usually overflowing with the latest designs and piles of stock waiting to be sorted. We don't have a lot of space for sitting around and chatting. Most of the time, we are busy checking the quality of the stitching or making sure the colors match what was ordered. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We see a lot of traders and shop owners who come in from out of town to pick up goods. We try to be quick because everyone is in a hurry in this market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we have to work by the light from the doorway, but we don't let it stop us. We’ve got a routine down now. We know which weavers are reliable and which ones we need to keep an eye on. It’s not a fancy boutique with soft music and carpets. It’s a market shop where the floors are hard and the work is constant. We just focus on keeping the stock fresh and the prices fair for the people who buy from us. Some days we are here late into the night just to finish the packing, but that’s the life of a textile shop here.
