Surat Realty is located at 86 Varachha Road, right near the Water Tank Road in Karelibaug. It’s a familiar spot for anyone who lives in this neighborhood. We work out of a modest office that’s seen a lot of use over the years. There’s always a stack of newspapers on the table and the smell of tea in the air. We focus on the local market here because that’s what we know best. Varachha Road is always moving, and we try to keep up with it. We help people find places to stay or spots for their businesses. It’s mostly just sitting down with a cup of chai and discussing what someone is looking for. We don't have a website with flashy graphics. We prefer to show people the actual properties in person. The water tank is a good landmark, so no one really gets lost finding us. We’ve been part of Karelibaug for a long time. We see the same faces every day. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't use a lot of corporate talk. We just say what the rent is or what the price of a plot looks like today. If the market is slow, we just wait it out. If it’s fast, we work longer hours. It’s a simple business run by local people. We take things as they come and try to be fair.
