You can find Soumil Enterprises right near the Kachiya Patel Vadi in the Siya Bagh area. We are situated at the Char Rasta, which is always a whirlwind of activity. Being right opposite the Khade Rao Market means there is constant movement, with vendors shouting and bikes zooming past our entrance. It is the kind of place where you have to keep your eyes open. Our building is older, with high ceilings and thick walls that stay surprisingly cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We have been in this spot for a while, and we have seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Inside, it is a mix of old wooden furniture and stacks of inventory. We do not really go for the modern look; it is more about being practical and getting the job done. The smell of the market—fresh produce, spices, and sometimes a bit of exhaust—drifts in whenever someone opens the door. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea, which is pretty much how we survive the long afternoons. The neighbors are good people, mostly traders like us who are just trying to make a living. It is loud and chaotic out there, but inside our doors, we just focus on the work at hand and handle things one day at a time without any fuss.
