Sahoji Creation

You can find us on the second floor of Shree Krupa Industry. It's number 6. Kapodra is always crowded, especially near Varachha Road, so getting here sometimes takes a bit of time in the mornings because of the traffic. We do a lot of the design work and actual creation of the pieces right here in this space. It’s not a huge office, just a workspace where we get things done. We have a few sewing machines and cutting tables set up. There's always fabric scraps on the floor by noon. Most of us have been working in this area for years. We know the neighbors and the tea stall downstairs pretty well. Sahoji Creation is just a small team of people. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People usually hear about us from other shop owners or just walk in because they saw the sign outside. We spend our time looking at patterns and making sure the stitching is okay. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we've learned how to stack things to make room. The light in the afternoon is quite good for seeing the colors of the thread. We just keep our heads down and finish the work that’s on the table. It's a busy life here in Varachha but we like the pace. Every day there is something new to cut or sew and it keeps us moving.
