Neon Light Prints

Our shop, Neon Light Prints, is over in the Arihant Complex, which is right at 247 Udhna Shivananda Circle. It is directly opposite Harinagar, so it is a pretty busy spot to be in. The traffic around the circle is almost always a mess, especially during the morning and evening rush. We spend our days surrounded by printing equipment and a lot of different colors. It is a bit of a messy job. You can’t really do this kind of work and stay clean. My hands usually have some ink on them by ten in the morning. The complex has a lot of other businesses, so there is always a lot of movement and noise. We don’t have a lot of extra space for a fancy lounge or anything. Most of the room is taken up by the machines and the materials we use. When a machine breaks down, the whole day can get thrown off. We have to be pretty handy with repairs ourselves. The sun shines right into the front door in the afternoon, which makes it a bit warm inside. We just keep the fan running and keep working. People from Harinagar often walk over when they need something done. We don't do much talking; we just listen to what they need and try to get it finished on time. It’s just a normal day for us.
