Shubhlaxmi Engineering Works

Shubhlaxmi Engineering Works is located at Sardar Complex on Bunglows Road in Kanav. This is a place where there is always the sound of metal and machines running. We do a lot of different types of work here, mostly fixing things or making parts that people need for their own projects or businesses. The shop is full of tools and pieces of iron and steel scattered around on the benches. It is not the cleanest place because of the oil and the metal shavings, but that is just how an engineering workshop is supposed to look. We spend our days measuring things out and using the lathe or the welding machine. The heat from the work can get intense, especially when the sun is hitting the Sardar Complex building in the middle of the day. We have been on Bunglows Road for a bit and we know the other shop owners nearby pretty well. Usually, someone drops by with a broken part that needs a quick weld or a custom bracket that they cannot find in a regular store. We just get on with the job and try to get it done right so they can go about their business. It is heavy work and our hands are usually stained with grease by the time we close up for the night. We don't have any fancy office, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and a few pens that actually work.
