In Surat, specifically in the Amroli area, you will find Elecon Engineering Co. We are set up at B5/103 in the Akshardham Apartments on Chhaparabhhatha Road. It is a bit of a different setup since we are based in an apartment complex, but it works for the kind of engineering work we do here in Gujarat. The road outside, Chhaparabhhatha Road, can get quite busy with local traffic, but once you get inside the Akshardham building, it’s a bit more focused. We have converted the space into a functional office where we keep our records and handle our engineering planning. It’s not a giant factory floor, but more of a management and technical hub. We don’t have a big team of sales people or a fancy lobby. It’s usually just a couple of us working through the technical details of whatever project is on the desk. People in the building know us as the engineering guys. We’ve been here for a while and have seen Amroli grow quite a bit. We don’t use any corporate jargon or make big claims about being the best. We just do the work that comes our way and try to be fair with everyone. It’s a quiet way to run a business, away from the main industrial zones but still close enough to stay busy. We just keep our heads down and stay on top of the work at B5/103 every single day.
