Shriji Art

Shriji Art is down at Parle Point 2nd Cross, Dk Lane 10/242. We are a small art and framing shop. It’s a bit tucked away in the lane. The workspace is usually covered in bits of wood and glass from the frames we make. We have been at 10/242 for several years. It’s a quiet spot which is good for focusing on the work. I do most of the framing myself and it takes time to get the corners just right. We have a few samples of frames on the wall but mostly the space is for working. People bring in paintings or old family photos that need a nice border. We don't have a big storefront with lights. It’s just a simple room with a large table. Sometimes the glue takes a long time to dry when it’s raining outside. Parle Point is a nice area but our cross lane is quite peaceful. We don't have any big slogans or marketing things. We just make frames and sell some small art supplies. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the stains and paints we use. It’s a hands-on job and I like it that way. We open the shop around mid-morning. If you come by Dk Lane you will see us. We are just a local art shop doing things the old-fashioned way without much fuss.
