You can find us at Shop No 1, which is right by the ST Bus Stand in the village of Piplod. Being at the bus stand means we are in the middle of all the action. There are always people coming and going, getting off buses or waiting for the next one to arrive. It’s a very dusty place because of all the traffic, and it gets really loud with the engines and the drivers shouting. We spend our whole day serving cold drinks to people who are tired from their travels. Piplod is a small village, but the bus stand makes it feel much bigger than it is. We have to keep our fridge stocked constantly because when a big bus pulls in, we get a lot of customers all at once. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to be quick on your feet. We don't have time for much else besides keeping the bottles cold and taking the money. The shop is small and we’ve been here long enough that the walls could use a new coat of paint. We don't have any fancy displays, just the coolers and the crates. It’s a simple business but it keeps us very busy from early morning until the last bus leaves at night. Most of the people we see are just passing through and we never see them again.
