Essar Steel Ltd.Hazira

We are over at 53, Thakordwar Society, in Section 2 of Palanpur Jakatnaka. It is right off Rander Road here in Surat. The company is Essar Steel Ltd. Hazira, and this is where we manage the daily grind. Surat is a fast-moving city, and being in the 395005 area keeps us right in the middle of things. Our office isn't a high-rise. It’s a local place in a regular society. We have a lot of paperwork to get through every day because the steel industry never really slows down. We aren't the type of people to sit in long meetings with slideshows. We’d rather just talk through what needs doing and get to it. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed but we stay busy. You’ll often find us checking through the inventory or talking to the transport guys. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work. We know the Rander Road area well, and we’ve seen how much it has changed over the years. Even with the changes, we just keep doing what we do. No fancy slogans or anything like that. Just a group of people working at a desk in a society building. We try to keep our feet on the ground and stay focused on the tasks that come our way each morning. It isn't perfect, but it is our work and we stick to it.
