Shivam Cold Drinks

It gets really hot at the Rander Khadia Char Rasta intersection, so having Shivam Cold Drinks right here makes a lot of sense for people. Passersby are always thirsty when they are waiting for the traffic light to change or standing around for their bus to arrive. We have those big heavy fridges that hum all day long. Sometimes they make a bit too much noise, but they keep the glass bottles very cold. We have all the usual sodas and some local drinks too. Kids often come by after their school finishes looking for something sweet. I have been standing behind this counter for many years now. I know most of the regular rickshaw drivers who pull over for a quick drink to cool down. The intersection is always a big mess with traffic and noise, but that is what brings us our business. We keep a few plastic chairs outside for people to sit, but they are usually taken by someone. We are not trying to be a big fancy cafe or anything. It is just a basic place to grab a cold bottle and then move on with your day. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to worry about the ice melting, but we usually manage to get through it. My son helps me out on the weekends when he is not busy. It is a simple life and it keeps us busy from morning until night.
