Satguru Tea & Pan Center

You can find Satguru Tea & Pan Center over at Udhna 34. We have the big tea kettle going early in the morning before most of the people in this area are even awake. The steam fills up the small shop space and we start getting the glass cups ready for the first batch of workers heading to their jobs. It is always a mix of smells here, the sweet tea boiling over the flame and then the sharp, fresh scent of the pan leaves we keep on the side. Udhna 34 is a really busy spot so there is always someone coming or going at all hours. We do not have much in the way of fancy decor or nice pictures on the walls. It is just a practical place to get a hot drink and maybe a pan for later in the day. The wooden benches we have outside get a lot of use from people taking a quick five-minute break from their work. We end up washing a whole lot of glasses every single day by hand. My hands stay warm from the heat of the stove even when it gets a bit chilly outside. Sometimes the tea spills over or the sugar gets all over the counter, but we just wipe it up and keep on moving. It is honest work and it keeps us very busy from the first light of dawn until quite late at night. We know how most of our regulars like their tea without them even saying a word.
