We run Sahaj Marg Estate Agent out of Gopipura Phase Ii. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main city center, and we like it that way. We’ve been based here for a long time, so we know most of the people on the street and who owns which house. Our office isn't much to look at, just a small space with a couple of desks and a dusty window. We don't use computers for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in big physical ledgers that we’ve had for years. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors and seeing who is looking to move or rent out a room. In Phase Ii, word travels fast, so we often hear about a place before it even officially goes on the market. We don't bother with fancy signs or big ads. People usually just walk in because they saw our name on a door or heard about us from a friend. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We spend a lot of time sitting on the bench outside when it’s nice out, just watching the world go by. Real estate here isn't about high-pressure sales; it’s more about knowing the neighborhood and being around when someone needs help with a lease. We just try to be helpful and keep things simple for everyone involved. It’s a quiet life, but we enjoy being part of the community.
