Ruparelia Metals

Our shop, Ruparelia Metals, is located on Rani Sati Marg in Haripura, at S 159. We mostly spend our time dealing with different types of metals and making sure we have what the local builders and tradespeople are looking for. It is a pretty busy area of town, so we get a lot of people dropping in to check our prices or see if we have a particular size of pipe or metal sheet. Our yard is packed with all sorts of metal sections, and it can look a bit like a maze to someone who hasn't been here before. We spend hours sorting through the piles to keep things somewhat in order. It is heavy, physical work moving steel and iron around every day. We usually have grease on our hands and the floor is never really clean, but that is just the nature of working with metal. We don't do any big advertising; it is just us and our inventory. If someone needs a piece cut to a certain length, we pull out the saw and do it right there. Some days the heat is quite bad, and working around all that metal makes it feel even hotter. But we have been doing this for a long time and we are used to it. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. They know we will give them a straight answer about what we have. It is just a simple, honest business in a good community.
