My family and I have been running Roshni Estate Agency here in Adajan for quite some time now. We are located right at 14 Vandana Society. It's a busy little spot, but we like it because people can just drop in when they are walking by. Buying or renting a place is always a headache, so we just try to help out with the paperwork and show a few houses that actually make sense for the budget. We don’t have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of local knowledge about who is moving where. People around here know us by name, which is how we prefer to do business. Sometimes the phone rings all day and sometimes it is quiet, that's just how the real estate market goes in this part of town. If you are looking for something in the neighborhood or maybe a bit further out, we usually have a few listings written down in our old ledger. We don't use any high-tech systems, just honest conversations and looking at properties together until something fits. It’s a simple way of working but it keeps us busy and the neighbors seem happy enough with how we handle things. We are usually here from morning until late evening, unless we are out showing a site to someone. It is not always easy work, but we like being part of the neighborhood.
