Murlidhar Cold Drinks

Murlidhar Cold Drinks sits right on Varachha Road Main Road 1. If you know this road, you know how loud and fast everything moves around here all day long. It’s a lot of dust and heat most of the year, so having a place with cold drinks makes a lot of sense for the people passing by. I started this place because I wanted something steady and simple. We have those big old refrigerators that hum all day and night. Sometimes they make a bit of a rattle when the compressor kicks in, but they keep everything cold, which is really what matters at the end of the day. The glass bottles clinking against each other is the main sound you hear inside when I'm restocking. During the summer months, it gets incredibly busy, and I barely have time to sit down or even take a short break. People are always in a hurry on Varachha Road, so they grab what they want, pay, and head back out into the traffic. I keep the floor swept, but with so many people coming in and out, it’s a constant job that never seems to end. I don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure the crates are full and the customers aren't waiting too long. We don’t have a fancy menu either. What you see in the fridge is what we have available. It’s practical and it works for the people who live and work in this part of town. I’ve seen this road change quite a bit over the years.
