Mural Art is located at C 104 on Bhatar Road. It isn't a fancy art gallery with white walls and soft music. It’s more of a working studio where things are a bit disorganized. There are paint splatters on the floor and brushes sitting in old jars of water everywhere you look. Bhatar Road is a busy area, so there is always the sound of traffic coming in through the open door. We spend most of our days on ladders or hunched over big pieces of paper on the floor. Our clothes usually have at least one or two paint stains on them by noon. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful not to knock over any of the supplies we have leaning against the walls. We don't have a big team or any corporate titles. It’s just us working with our hands. The lighting isn't always perfect, but we make it work with a few extra lamps when it gets dark. Most people who come by are locals who saw our sign while driving down Bhatar Road. We don't do any big advertising or social media stuff. The smell of oil paint and wood glue is pretty strong inside, which we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We just take it one project at a time and try to finish things before the next one starts. It’s a lot of manual labor and messy hands.
