Mayushri Art & Craft

Our work happens in apartment 504 of the Akashdarshan building. It’s on Rander Road, right behind Navyug College. We are also pretty close to Shrenik Park Society. Being on the fifth floor means we are away from the direct noise of the main road, though you can still hear the city hum. It’s a residential building, so Mayushri Art & Craft feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have our supplies scattered around the rooms. It is a bit crowded with materials, but we know where everything is. Living and working in the same general area makes things easier. The neighbors are used to us being here. We don’t have a big storefront with lights. You have to know the building and take the lift up to the fifth floor. Often, we are just busy with our hands, making things or planning out the next craft project. The light coming through the windows is usually pretty good in the afternoons. It’s a simple way to run things. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations for the space. We’d rather just have the space to do the actual work. It’s been our base for some time now. Being near the college means there are always students around the area, which keeps the neighborhood feeling young and active. It's a nice little spot to be in, tucked away from the main road's chaos. We just keep working away every day.
