We’ve been at Ring Road U 6 for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot with trucks and cars passing by all the time, but we’ve grown to like the noise. Most days we are just here moving metal supplies around for whoever needs them. It’s a lot of loading and unloading, which keeps us busy from morning until we close up. We keep the inventory in stacks, and though we try to stay organized, sometimes things get a bit messy when we have a big delivery. We aren’t a big corporation with fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a few of us and a lot of metal. Most of our regular customers are builders or local shop owners who know exactly what they want. They usually just walk in and point to what they need. We check the back to see what’s in stock and get it moved out to their vehicle. The work is dusty and can be pretty heavy on the back, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the road outside gets blocked with traffic, which makes getting the trucks in and out a bit of a headache. We just take it as it comes. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just show up, handle the metal, and help the people who come to the door. It’s a simple way to spend the day. We try to be fair and just do the work without making things more complicated than they need to be.
