K G Pan & Cold Drinks

K G Pan & Cold Drinks is situated right on the OTC Road in the town of Bardoli. It is a good, convenient spot for anyone who is traveling through or just living in the nearby neighborhood. We have a big old fridge that hums loudly all day long while it keeps the sodas and the water bottles cold for the customers. Right next to that, we have our pan counter where we do all of the slow handwork throughout the day. The OTC Road can get quite dusty from the wind, so we find ourselves always wiping down the glass bottles and the countertop. It gets very hot in Bardoli during the summer months, so the cold drinks are really what keep us the busiest most of the time. We see a lot of truck drivers and people on motorbikes who just want to grab something cold and quick before they keep going on their way. We do not have much room inside for people to sit down and relax, so most customers just stand by the side of the road for a minute. The shop itself is quite small and we have to stack the plastic crates of empty bottles wherever they will fit. We have been in this spot for a while and the daily routine does not change much from one day to the next. We open up the shutters early and close once the traffic dies down. It is a simple way to make a living, selling a few drinks.
