We've been at Athwalines on the 3rd floor for a while now. Running Jivraj 9 Tea isn't always glamorous, but it keeps us busy. Most days start early with the smell of different blends filling the room. It’s just how things go here. People come in, we sort out the orders, and make sure the tea is ready for whoever needs it. It’s a bit of a climb up to the third floor, but the view isn't bad if you look out the right window. We don't really do big speeches or fancy ads. We just focus on the leaves and the brewing process. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we take the stairs. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and checking batches. The office isn't the biggest, but it works for what we do. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from up here. A lot of tea goes through these doors every week. It’s noisy sometimes with the traffic below. We just try to keep things moving steadily. My cousin helps out with the ledger, and a couple of guys handle the heavy lifting. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or anything. Just desks, some samples, and a lot of boxes. It’s what we know how to do, so we just stick to it day after day. We’ve had the same kettle in the breakroom for five years now. It works, so we don't change it.
