Jay Somanath Tea Centre

You can find Jay Somanath Tea Centre right over at 5 Kadodara Davariya Copmlex. We are pretty close to Hira Baug Circle, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around right outside our door. It gets quite loud during the morning rush. We start our day pretty early here because that is when people want their first cup of tea before they head off to work or start their daily chores. The shop itself isn't huge, but we make it work with the little space we have. There are always pots of tea bubbling away on the burners and the smell of ginger and spices in the air. We keep a few stools for people to sit on if they aren't in a big hurry, though most folks just grab their cup and stand around chatting for a few minutes on the pavement. Dealing with the crowd near the circle can be a bit of a headache sometimes, especially when the weather is bad or the traffic is backed up, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We buy our tea leaves in bulk and make sure to keep the milk fresh throughout the day. It is just a regular local spot where you can get a hot drink without any fuss or high prices. We know most of our regulars by their faces and exactly how they like their tea.
