Jay Sainath Estate Agent has its roots right here on Gurukul Road. We are based in Ahuja Bhavan, which is a building most people in Adajan know well. Our space is pretty small, just a couple of desks and some filing cabinets filled with listings. It stays quite cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the road outside. We spend most of our time out and about, looking at different houses and shops around the neighborhood. When we are in the office, we're usually on the phone or drinking tea while looking over some maps. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just a big notebook and some folders. People stop by quite often just to ask what’s available or what the prices are doing lately. We try to give them a straight answer based on what we've seen on the streets. Adajan is growing fast, and there's always something new being built. It's hard to keep up sometimes. We focus on this specific area because we live here too. We know which streets get flooded when it rains and which ones stay quiet at night. It’s not a corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, it's just one of us sitting there waiting for the next person to walk in. We deal with all sorts of people, from young couples to old shop owners. It’s just how things go here on Gurukul Road.
