Jai Matadi Coldrinks

Our shop, Jai Matadi Coldrinks, is located right in the middle of Rander. It’s a simple setup we’ve had for quite some time now. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the front. Mostly we just sell cold drinks and bottled water to people passing through the area. Rander is an old part of town and the streets can be pretty narrow and cramped, so it gets quite busy around here. We open up in the morning and keep the coolers running all day long. It gets really loud in the shop when the compressors are going, but it’s the only way to keep the drinks cold enough when it’s hot outside. We don’t really have any place for people to sit down, so most folks just buy their drink and keep walking. I spend a lot of my day just restocking the bottles and making sure the change is ready. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with all the noise outside. We know the other shop owners on the street and we all kind of look out for each other. Sometimes things are slow, especially when it rains, but we just stay open anyway. It’s not the kind of place that’s going to win any awards, but we’re here every day and we do what we need to do. Just a regular coldrink shop in a regular neighborhood, really. That's about all there is to it.
