Haveli The Heart Of Art

You can find us on the first floor of Dharmesh Apartment. It’s right there by the Narmad Library cross road. Being on Ghod-Dod road means there is always traffic outside, but inside it stays pretty calm. We mostly deal with different kinds of art pieces and decorative things. Some days we spend hours just unpacking crates and checking if anything got chipped. It’s a lot of manual work. The space is filled with all sorts of items we’ve collected. It isn’t laid out like a big showroom, more like a place where you have to look around to see everything. We get people stopping by after they visit the library. Usually, they just want to see what’s new. We don't really push anyone to buy. If something catches your eye, that's great. The lighting in here can be a bit tricky because of how the apartment is built, but we make do with extra lamps. My hands are usually dusty from moving frames or shifting sculptures around. We’ve been at this for a bit now and the neighbors know us. It’s a quiet way to spend the day, surrounded by these things. We just keep the shop running and hope the rain doesn't leak through the windows when the monsoon hits. Sometimes we rearrange the whole floor just to make room for one big piece. It’s a constant process of shifting things around.
