Ghanshyam Tea

Ghanshyam Tea has its main spot at Plot No 2425 in the Chhakkapir Gali, right inside Ganaraj Market. Being near Lal Darwaja means we are in one of the busiest parts of the city. The alleyway, or gali, is narrow and usually packed with people looking for various goods in the market. We have been serving tea and managing our supplies from this location for many years. You can usually smell the tea leaves as soon as you turn the corner into the market street. It is a very lively place to work. There is constant shouting from vendors and the sound of bells from the nearby temple in the mornings. Our space is functional, filled with bags of tea and the equipment we need to keep things moving. We don't have any fancy seating or air conditioning. It’s just a traditional market setup where business happens fast. People stop by for a quick cup or to pick up their weekly supply for home. We know most of the other shopkeepers in Ganaraj Market, and we all look out for each other. Sometimes the rain makes the gali a bit muddy, but the customers still come through. We don't bother with fancy packaging or big advertisements. The taste of the tea is what matters most when people take that first sip in the morning. It’s a humble business built on long days and a lot of hot water. We just keep the stove going and the tea flowing for everyone.
