Ganesh Soda Factory

Ganesh Soda Factory is over in Bardoli, on Plot No. 3-A/3 along Dhulia Road. We are quite close to the Mindhola Bridge. If you are driving that way, you can’t really miss the turn. It is more of a factory setting than a shop, so it’s a bit noisy with all the machines and the glass bottles clinking together. We are in the Surat district, and it gets incredibly hot here during the summer months. That’s when we are the busiest, trying to keep up with the demand for soda. There is always a lot of water on the floor and the smell of gas in the air. It’s hard work and your hands get tired from moving the heavy crates around all day. The bridge nearby always has a lot of traffic, and we hear the horns honking constantly. We don't have a front office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us in our work clothes near the filling machines. It’s a practical place built for work, not for looking pretty. The walls are stained and the roof is corrugated metal. We just focus on getting the bottles filled and sent out on the trucks to the local shops. It’s a simple process that hasn’t changed much over the years. We just keep the production line moving and hope the machines don't break down on a busy day. It’s just regular factory work.
